![]() Also, the M1 chipset is an amazing architecture, but its primarily focused for low energy consumption type devices, meaning its not really geared to compete against threadrippers or 3090s or anything, so depending on what you're upgrading from, you may not see a substantial performance gain in Redshift specifically compared against a hackintosh running 2080tis but maybe in other workflows it might be a boost. I haven't run it myself but I would suggest to also be mindful of the performance differences of an M1 setup compared against a typical CG workstation, while the MacOS support is an absolutely spectacular step in the right direction, there still isnt support for Nvidia chipsets which by and large drive the GPU rendering market.
